Take Five by the Dave Brubeck Quartet was originally recorded for the 1959 Columbia LP Time Out, featuring Paul Desmond's alto sax line over a 5/4 time signature -- the track that brought odd meters into mainstream jazz. This UK CBS EP pressing (AGG 20026) dates to around 1962, identifiable by the O/TI tax code embossed on the 3-prong push-out centre.
