Philadelphia soul duo The Delfonics released "Trying To Make A Fool Of Me" in 1970, produced and arranged by Thom Bell and Stan Watson. This is the 1972 second UK pressing on Bell Records (BELL 1215), reissuing recordings from the original BLL 1116. The A-side is one of Bell's smoothest productions for the group, built on his signature lush string arrangements.
