Morrison Hotel is the fifth studio album by The Doors, released February 1970 on Elektra Records. Produced by Paul A. Rothchild, it marked a rawer, blues-driven direction for the band. This is the original UK pressing on red Elektra labels, manufactured by Polydor. Roadhouse Blues opens the record and remains one of the band's most covered tracks. Blues harmonica throughout the album is played by John Sebastian.
