Jaws In Orbit pairs tenor saxophonist Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis with organist Shirley Scott, recorded in Hackensack, NJ in May 1959 and released on Prestige in 1960. An original US mono pressing on PRLP 7171. Scott's Hammond drives the session hard alongside Davis's gruff, bluesy tone across six tracks, with "Intermission Riff" and "Our Delight" among the highlights.
