Recorded live at the Blue Note, NYC in late 1985, this Concord Jazz release pairs pianist Gene Harris with tenor saxophonist Stanley Turrentine -- the "Plus One" of the title. Produced by Ray Brown, the set runs through blues, standards, and spirituals including Erroll Garner's "Misty" and Duke Ellington's "Things Ain't What They Used To Be." Original 1986 US pressing on CCD-4303.
