Bucket is a 1966 Blue Note release from organist Jimmy Smith, recorded in February 1963 and produced by Alfred Lion. This original mono pressing carries Van Gelder dead wax stamps on both sides -- a reliable marker for early Blue Note pressings. Smith leads through soul-jazz and hard bop across six tracks, including readings of "Careless Love" and "Come Rain Or Come Shine."
