Retro-Fit is a 1992 compilation on Celluloid Records gathering remixed and reworked material by The Last Poets, the New York spoken word group whose early 1970s recordings laid groundwork for rap. Produced and remixed by Choco, Clive Smith, and John Matarazzo, the set applies electro and funk production to tracks including "Mean Machine" and the extended "Doriella Du Fontaine," originally recorded with Jimi Hendrix.
