Locomotive were a Birmingham-based rock group who cut this rocksteady single in 1968, produced by Gus Dudgeon -- later known for his work with Elton John -- in association with Tony Hall. Written by Norman Haines, "Rudi's In Love" is a ska-inflected pop curio on Parlophone. Original UK pressing on R 5718.
