Released on Trojan in 1970, this original UK pressing of "Monkey Man" features the 4-pronged push-out centre label in Trojan's blue and orange colourway. Written by Toots Hibbert and produced by Leslie Kong, the track became one of the Maytals' most recognised cuts. The B-side is "Night And Day." The song was later covered by the Rolling Stones on their 1970 album Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out.
