Product Review:
EX/EX - visual grading only.

The Meters' 1969 debut on Josie Records, recorded at Cosimo Matassa's studio in New Orleans and produced by Allen Toussaint and Marshall Sehorn. This 2001 Rhino/Warner remaster adds two previously unreleased bonus tracks from the original sessions. "Cissy Strut" and "Sophisticated Cissy" are among the most sampled funk recordings ever cut. All four members share writing credits throughout.

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
