The Modern Jazz Quartet disbanded in 1974 after 22 years, and this double live recording captures their farewell performance at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center, New York, November 25 that year. Produced by Ilhan Mimaroglu for Atlantic, this German-pressed CD edition adds two previously unreleased bonus tracks. The set spans MJQ staples including Django, Bags' Groove, and Round Midnight.
