Recorded live at the Newport Jazz Festival on July 7, 1957, this Verve LP captures Oscar Peterson alongside Roy Eldridge, Sonny Stitt, and Jo Jones across eight bop and hard bop performances. Highlights include "Joy Spring" and "Willow Weep For Me." This is an original 1958 US mono pressing on Verve MG V-8239.
