The Ran-Dells cut "Martian Hop" in 1963 for Chairman Records, a novelty rock and roll single that became a regional US hit. This is a 1974 UK promo reissue on London Records (HLU 10450), produced and arranged by Steve Rappaport. The B-side is "Forgive Me Darling (I Have Lied)." The track was later covered by The Cramps on their 1990 LP Stay Sick!
