The Revolutionaries were the house band at Channel One Studio in Kingston, led by drummer Sly Dunbar. "Sweetie Come From America" appeared on Joe Gibbs' High Note imprint, one of the key Jamaican 7" outlets of the roots era. The B-side delivers the dub version, standard for the format. Catalogue number S.P.0055 suggests an original Jamaican pressing.
