The Salsoul Orchestra was the house band of Philadelphia's Salsoul Records, led by arranger and producer Vincent Montana Jr. This 1978 UK compilation draws from their first two LPs, mixing orchestral disco with Latin percussion across twelve tracks. Highlights include "Chicago Bus Stop" and "Tangerine", alongside the Strauss-adapted "Salsoul: 3001". Recorded at Sigma Sound Studios and mastered at Sterling Sound.
