The Salsoul Orchestra's 1977 Salsoul Records 12" pairs two bold covers: Side A reworks the finale of Stravinsky's Firebird into a disco/Latin/jazz arrangement courtesy of Vincent Montana Jr., while Side B tackles Earth, Wind & Fire's "Getaway." Produced and arranged by Montana Jr. for the Cayre brothers' label, this original US pressing runs at 45 RPM.
