The Temptations' "Masterpiece" was the lead single from their 1973 album of the same name, written and produced by Norman Whitfield at the height of his socially conscious funk period with the group. This UK Tamla Motown pressing (TMG 854) pairs the vocal cut with the instrumental on the B-side, arranged by Paul Riser.
