Late Spot At Scott's captures the Tubby Hayes Quintet live at Ronnie Scott's, London, in May 1962. Originally released on Fontana, this 1998 Redial reissue presents the mono recording in hard bop form -- Hayes on tenor, working through originals like Half A Sawbuck and The Sausage Scraper alongside standards including Angel Eyes and Gershwin's My Man's Gone Now.
