The Whispers released "It's A Love Thing" as a UK Solar single in 1981, produced by Dick Griffey and the group themselves, with string arrangements by Gene Dozier. This pressing is the knock-out centre label variant, manufactured by RCA Limited in England. The track reached the UK top 10 and remains one of the group's most recognised disco-soul cuts.
