Tim Garland is a British saxophonist and composer, long associated with Chick Corea and Bill Bruford. Moment Of Departure, released 2024 on Ubuntu Music, captures his Lighthouse Trio alongside the Britten Sinfonia, with the five-part suite The Forever Seed recorded at Abbey Road Studio One in 2021. A double LP running across four sides, it's one of the more ambitious releases in Ubuntu's catalogue.
