Tommy McClennan and Robert Petway were Chicago blues recording artists originally from Mississippi, both recording for Bluebird Records in the early 1940s. This 2000 UK compilation on Audio Book & Music collects 25 tracks across both artists, including McClennan's "Bottle It Up And Go" and "Catfish Blues" -- the latter later recorded by Muddy Waters and widely sampled in rock and blues.
