Funky Kingston is the 1973 debut album by Toots & The Maytals, produced by Chris Blackwell, Warwick Lyn, and Dave Bloxham, recorded at Dynamic Sounds in Kingston and Island Studios in London. This is the 1991 Trojan CD reissue (CDTRL 201). The album includes a cover of "Louie Louie" and the track "Redemption Song", predating Bob Marley's better-known version by seven years.
