From the Maxi Jazz Collection. Top Cat's Police In Helicopter alongside Tribe Of Issachar's Yes Selectah -- UK dancehall from the early 90s underground. Top Cat was recording in a very specific reggae-meets-rave zone.

Top Cat and Tribe Of Issachar's 2004 Congo Natty 12" pairs two cuts produced by Rebel MC. The A-side reworks John Holt's "Police In Helicopter" over rolling jungle drums, while "Yes Selectah" features Tribe Of Issachar on the flip. Released on Rebel MC's own Congo Natty imprint (CONGONATTY3), the label that helped define UK jungle's reggae roots throughout the 90s and into the 2000s.
