Back To Oakland is the fourth studio album by Tower Of Power, originally released in 1974 on Warner Bros. It captures the Oakland funk collective at full strength, with the horn arrangements of Greg Adams prominent throughout. Squib Cakes, an extended instrumental, became a cornerstone of jazz-funk. This is a German CD reissue on Warner Bros. catalogue number 7599-27279-2.
