Tower of Power's self-titled 1973 debut on Warner Bros. collects their most recognisable cuts, including "What Is Hip?" and "So Very Hard To Go," both Top 30 R&B hits. This is a US repress identifiable by the palm tree labels. Produced by the band under Emilio Castillo's supervision, with Greg Adams arranging strings. "Soul Vaccination" remains one of the most sampled tracks in funk.
