Twin Hype were a New York duo on Profile Records, the label behind Run-DMC and Dana Dane. "Do It To The Crowd" appeared in 1989 at the crossover point between hip-hop and house, with production from The Hollywood Impact. This UK pressing on Profile (PROFT 255) includes the instrumental and bonus beats on the flip -- useful for DJs working either side of that hip-hop/house divide.
