U-Roy's Crucial Cuts is a 1983 Virgin compilation drawing from his mid-1970s recordings for producer Tony Robinson, with tracks B1 and B2 from the Treasure Isle stable. Highlights include his toast over "Rivers of Babylon" and "Tide Is High" before Blondie took it mainstream. A later reissue pressing on Virgin's VX series.
