U-Roy (Ewart Beckford) helped define toasting as a vocal form in reggae during the early 1970s. This 1973 UK Gayfeet single predates his Studio One and Virgin output, placing it among his earlier British releases. "Hard Feeling" rides a rootsy rhythm with U-Roy's characteristic talk-over style, while "Regular Style" on the flip delivers more of the same deejay approach that made him influential across Jamaica and the UK.
