U-Roy -- born Ewart Beckford -- pioneered the deejay toasting style over Duke Reid's Treasure Isle rhythms in the late 1960s, laying groundwork for DJ culture worldwide. This 1992 French Lagoon compilation draws from those Treasure Isle sessions, featuring 27 tracks including "Wake The Town", "Version Galore", and a toasted reading of Blondie's "The Tide Is High" -- itself drawn from a Paragons original Reid produced.

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.
Every used record and CD pro-cleaned
We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.
Re-sleeving
We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
