Brand new sealed.

Ariwa Sounds: The Early Sessions collects recordings made by Mad Professor at his original Ariwa studio -- a sitting room in Thornton Heath, south London -- on 4-track equipment between 1979 and 1981. This 2023 reissue on Melodies International (MEL023) marks the first wide release of this early material, capturing reggae and dub productions from the formative years of one of the UK's most distinctive independent labels.

What's in the box?

  • Your tunes

  • pro-cleaned

  • with a new inner sleeve

  • and a new outer sleeve

Expert, honest grading

Used records and CDs are graded when we catalogue them for sale and again before they are sent out. So they should reach you in the condition you expect.

Every used record and CD pro-cleaned

We clean our used vinyl records using a VPI vacuum cleaner. More expensive records are also cleaned ultrasonically. CDs are cleaned gently by hand.

Re-sleeving

We place each used record in a brand new paper or anti-static audiophile inner sleeve. We then place the record and sleeve (separately) into a brand new outer sleeve. Ready to be enjoyed!
