Compiled by David Harrison and Gef Lucena, who also provided transcriptions, it draws from rural sacred traditions -- congregational singing, jubilee, and spiritual forms. Thirty-two tracks across four sides make it one of the more comprehensive surveys of the genre in the Matchbox catalogue.
