Street Sounds '87-3 is the third compilation in Street Sounds' 1987 series, released on the UK independent label that became a primary outlet for electro, funk, and emerging hip-hop sounds during the mid-80s. The set closes with a nine-minute version of "Jingo," the Mongo Santamaría percussion track that became a dancefloor staple, alongside Mixx-It's "Jack Mix IV" and a spread of soul and funk cuts.
