Yazoo L-1022, released 1971, collecting ten years of Black Country gospel and country blues recordings from 1926 to 1936. Yazoo was a key early reissue label for pre-war American blues and gospel, drawing from 78rpm originals. This purple label pressing covers rural sacred music from the Deep South -- field hollers, congregational singing, and solo devotional pieces across fourteen tracks.
