Muskadine 104 collects sixteen sides of West Coast piano blues recorded between 1946 and 1952, drawing on small-label 78s from the postwar California scene. Artists include Thunder Smith and Little Willie Littlefield across boogie, shuffle, and slow blues cuts. "Baby, Don't You Want To Go" is a variant of the standard later known as "Sweet Home Chicago."
