Victor Romero Evans was a UK-based reggae vocalist active in the early 1980s. This self-titled 12" single from 1982 was released on his own Special Request imprint, produced by John Collins. The A-side "Special Request" leads, backed by "Slacks And Sovereigns" on the flip -- a two-tracker from the softer, pop-leaning end of British reggae of the period.
