Adam's Apple is Wayne Shorter's seventh Blue Note album, recorded in 1966 with Herbie Hancock, Reggie Workman, and Joe Chambers. This is the circa 2005 Rainbo pressing, identifiable by the 304 Park Ave. S. NYC label address. The record introduces "Footprints," later a jazz standard, and features six Shorter originals. Shorter moved to Columbia shortly after, making this his final Blue Note session as a leader.
