Recorded in a single session at Van Gelder Studio in October 1965, The All Seeing Eye is one of Wayne Shorter's more ambitious Blue Note dates -- a five-piece session featuring Freddie Hubbard, Grachan Moncur III, James Spaulding, Ron Carter, and Joe Chambers. This 2000 CD reissue, produced by Michael Cuscuna, was transferred at 24-bit resolution from the original analogue masters. Originally issued as BLP 4219.
