Heavy Weather is the eighth studio album by Weather Report, released in 1977 on Columbia. Produced by Joe Zawinul with Jaco Pastorius as co-producer, it features Birdland -- later covered widely and a staple of jazz repertoire -- and Teen Town, a showcase for Pastorius's fretless bass. This is a Santa Maria plant pressing, identifiable by the "S" etched in the runouts.
