Mr. Gone is Weather Report's ninth studio album, released in 1978 on Columbia. Recorded with a rotating cast including Tony Williams and Steve Gadd on drums, it features Jaco Pastorius's bass composition "River People" and the funk-leaning "Punk Jazz." This copy is a US promo pressing on ARC/Columbia, stamped for promotion only and marked not for sale -- a period artefact from the original release year.
