Soul Bag is a 1970 Willie Mitchell LP on London Records (HAU 8408), a UK pressing of his Hi Records instrumental soul set. Mitchell produced throughout, and the album works through covers of Eddie Floyd's "Knock On Wood", Sly Stone's "Everyday People", and the Hawaii Five-O theme alongside originals. A strong showcase for Mitchell's Memphis arranging style before his work with Al Green defined that sound.
