Winston Francis is a Jamaican vocalist who recorded for Studio One in the late 1960s. This 1992 UK 12" on Metronome pairs two tracks -- "Wonderful Sound" and "Story Book Children" -- each with alternate mixes, the Gorilla Mix and Lion Mix respectively. Both sides draw on the deep roots sound Francis built his reputation on, updated here for early 90s sound system culture.
