Conscience is the third studio album by Womack & Womack, released in 1988 on 4th & Broadway. Produced by Chris Blackwell and The Gypsy Wave Power Co., it features "Teardrops", a UK top five hit that became one of the most recognisable soul singles of the late 1980s. Cecil and Linda Womack wrote and recorded the album as a concept addressing social and spiritual themes across nine tracks of contemporary R&B and soul.
