Children Of Lima pairs Woody Herman's Thundering Herd with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, recorded live in Texas in 1974 before studio sessions at Fantasy in 1975. Released on Fantasy's QuadraDisc format, designed for four-channel playback. Alan Broadbent arranged throughout. Side B includes covers of Chicago's "25 Or 6 To 4" and Roberta Flack's "Where Is The Love."
