Wynton Marsalis recorded this live set at Bubba's Jazz Restaurant, Fort Lauderdale, in October 1980 -- when he was just 19. Released in 1986 on the UK Kingdom Jazz label, it captures him pre-Columbia in hard bop form, working through standards including "My Funny Valentine" and "'Round About Midnight" alongside original material.
