Young MC's debut single, released 1988 on 4th & Broadway. Produced by Matt Dike, Michael Ross, and The Dust Brothers -- who arranged the track built around a loop from Tone Loc's "Wild Thing" session material. The B-side pairs "The Fastest Rhyme" with "My Name Is Young." Young MC co-wrote Tone Loc's "Funky Cold Medina" and "Wild Thing" the same year, making this 12" a snapshot of that exact creative moment.
