Alton Ellis cut "Too Late" as a rocksteady single, one of several releases that cemented his reputation as one of Jamaica's foremost vocal talents. This 7" is a repress from original stampers on the Giant label, released in the first half of the 1980s, and pairs the vocal cut with a dub version on the flip.
