Ella Fitzgerald's take on António Carlos Jobim's "Desafinado", arranged and conducted by Marty Paich, released as a 1964 German Verve single. The B-side pairs it with a bossa nova reworking of Hoagy Carmichael's "Stardust". Both sides reflect the bossa nova wave that crossed into mainstream jazz in the early 1960s following João Gilberto and Stan Getz's influence on US labels.
