Roots reggae vocal trio The Gladiators formed in Kingston in the mid-1960s, led by Albert Griffiths. This 1990 Front Line/Virgin remastered CD compilation draws from four albums recorded between 1976 and 1979 -- Trenchtown Mix Up, Proverbial Reggae, Naturality, and Sweet So Still -- plus the 1978 single "Pocket Money". Bob Marley's "Soul Rebel" appears among the 19 tracks. Made in Austria.
