This 2010 reissue collects a straight-ahead bop session built around standards and bebop repertoire -- Monk's "Bemsha Swing," Miles Davis's "Four," and Sonny Rollins's "Pent Up House" among them. Jones's touch and restraint across a ten-track set that also includes Milt Jackson's "Bag's Groove."
