James Cotton was a Chicago blues harmonica player who recorded for Verve through the late 1960s. This 1995 US compilation pulls twenty tracks from those sessions, produced variously by Barry Goldberg, Elliot Mazer, and Mike Bloomfield. Highlights include "Sweet Sixteen", "The Creeper", and "Back To St. Louis". Catalogue number 314 527 371-2.
